Happy to report that we won that match which gives us a little confidence going into the season. I'm really excited for the upcoming weeks of traveling and playing however it's not going to be all fun and games. I do have a senior thesis to right which I've decided to look at how the media frames women's value and worth before and after the 1973 'Battle of the Sexes' Tennis match with Billie Jean King. This will 'hopefully' show how powerful the media is in persuading us or just framing concepts and standards in which we resort to.
Anyway, I'm going on my 4th week of classes; 11 more to go!!!
I'll keep you guys posted on how my college team does and how my paper is turning out :)
