A Christmas Story

Currently I am reading in the book of Luke (verse 2) and ironically came to the story of the birth of Jesus and the shepherds just 2 days before Christmas..

I definitely think that this story is overlooked. We just know it so well that we forget the small details that makes this story incredible; such as Mary being an unwed teenager... Plus her and Joseph didn't really have family to support them and on top of that, just think of the faith both of them had to have to abide by God's plan.

God's overall plan was way bigger than what they had planned for themselves and it takes great faith and courage to put 'yourself' aside and serve the Lord whole heartily.

"This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too." -Luke 2:33-35

Water

I have never seen anything that has touched my heart soooo much! I watched this video and cried like a little baby.. I really want to help in some way; this nonprofit has job openings but it's all the way in NY and I imagine that the pay is pennies.. Even though that shouldn't matter and I'd be helping families get water, I have to take into account that I need to financially support myself in an expensive city..

I'm torn... What do you guys think?...

Tomorrow the insanity begins...

I'm done with FINALS and PAPERS!!! I'm so very proud of myself and now I have one more semester to go with my undergrad.. Very surreal feeling.

Anyway, as of tomorrow, I'm going to start my insanity workouts while also trying to incorporate bodyrock.tv workouts.. I'm very nervous but I want to be in phenomenal shape for the tennis season by January..

Zuzana (see below) is kind of my inspiration...

I'll keep you guys posted with pictures and updates on the workouts..

Ethics Final

I have an ethics final tomorrow at 11am.. I'm not too worried, I've enjoyed that class all semester and I think it will just be a personal ethical statement about a topic of my prof. choice..

I'm finished with all my 3 final papers.. I need to review them but I'm so tired of them after constantly reviewing them for all these months..

I think I might make a pot of coffee and just DO IT!!

Get it over with and relax tomorrow afternoon :)

Finals Week

Finals week is around the corner :/

3 papers, 3 presentations, 1 written exam...

I cannot wait until winter break but it wont be as relaxing as I want it to be.. I have to study for my composition exams for rhetoric (I need to pass to graduate)... No big deal for anything..

So I will be studying during the break for the majority of the time..

But being back in my hometown will be very nice

I'm looking forward to catching up on some Gossip Girl :)
